In the making ·

Taking shape.
Step by step.

Moirist is in active development. Local threads, working briefs, and context records are implemented. Branching, reconnection, and coordinated execution are still ahead.

01 / Working locally

Development build

A place to begin and come back to.

The current build supports three foundations:

  • Local threads. Capture an idea, add to its history, and return to it after restarting. A command-line interface and a read-only view use the same local record.
  • Working briefs. Keep the objective, constraints, and current summary together. Earlier versions remain available as the brief changes.
  • Context records. Keep track of the sources selected for a piece of work, why they were included, and whether the record is still current.

These foundations are implemented and checked in the development build. There is no public download yet.

02 / Ahead

Planned

Carry the thought further.

Deliberate forks, undo, conversation continuity, and reconnecting related threads are part of the intended experience. They are planned work, along with the remaining export, retention, and deletion behavior.

We are also working toward handing bounded work to AI tools, preserving its context, and bringing back results you can inspect. Provider dispatch, ongoing autonomous execution, and the complete approval and verification workflow are not available in this foundation.

We are building toward work that keeps its context and a direction you can guide. Each next layer needs to prove useful on real projects.

Help shape what comes next.

We would like to hear from founders and technical operators already building with AI. Tell us about a project that spans conversations, a handoff that loses context, or a thread you keep meaning to pick up.
